Mick Bates (Welsh politician)
Mick Bates (24 September 1947 – 29 August 2022) was a Welsh politician. He was a Member of the Welsh Assembly (AM) for Montgomeryshire from 1999 to 2011. Bates was a member of the Welsh Liberal Democrats.
