Michael Flaksman
Michael Flaksman (May 3, 1946 – October 18, 2019[1]) was an American cellist. He was born in Akron, Ohio. He performed widely in recitals, chamber music concerts and with orchestras throughout Europe and in the Far East, as well as conducted master classes in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Poland and Croatia.

He was Honorary President at Italian Cello Consort, a cellist group created by his student and assistant Giovanni Ricciardi.
He died on October 18, 2019 at the age of 73.[1]
