Metropolis (comics)

Metropolis is a fictional city in DC Comics. It is where Superman lives. The city is based on New York City, Chicago and Toronto. It became Superman's home in 1939. Within the DC Universe, Metropolis is one of the largest and richest cities on Earth. It has a population of nearly 11 million people.[1]
