Max Crook

Maxfield Doyle Crook (November 2, 1936 July 1, 2020)[1] was an American musician. His music was electronic music in pop. He was the featured soloist on Del Shannon's 1961 hit "Runaway", which he co-wrote. He invented the Musitron. He also recorded as Maximilian. Crook was born in Lincoln, Nebraska and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Crook died on July 1, 2020 at the age of 83.[1]
