"Master of Puppets" is a 1986 song by thrash metal band Metallica and is the title track from their third studio album Master of Puppets. It went to number 4 in the Netherlands, number 12 in Greece, number 13 in Hungary, number 16 in Iceland, number 17 in New Zealand, number 19 in Australia, number 22 in the United States, number 24 in Ireland, number 32 in Canada and Lithuania, number 35 in the United States and number 47 in Portugal. It was used in the TV series Stranger Things.
