Mary Twala

Mary Twala (14 September 1939 – 4 July 2020)[1] was a South African actress. In 2011, she was nominated for Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role. Twala was born in Johannesburg. Her best known roles were in Life, Above All, Beat the Drum and in Sarafina!.

Twala died on 4 July 2020 in Johannesburg, aged 80.[2]
