Martha Coakley
Martha Mary Coakley (born July 14, 1953) is the Attorney General of Massachusetts.[1] Before that, she was the District Attorney for Middlesex County, Massachusetts (1999-2007). She is a Democrat. She was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
In 2010, Coakley was the Democratic nominee for the United States Senate in the special election to replace Ted Kennedy following his death, but lost to Republican Scott Brown.
