Maria Piątkowska
Maria Piątkowska (née Ilwicka, later Chojnacka; 24 February 1931 – 19 December 2020) was a Romanian-born Polish sprinter, hurdler, and long jumper. She was born in Goleni, Romania.

She was a three-time Olympian (Helsinki 1952, Rome 1960 and Tokyo 1964). In three European Championships (1954 Bern, 1958 Stockholm, and 1962 Belgrade), she won three medals.
Piątkowska died on 19 December 2020 at the age of 89.[1]
