Margo St. James
Margaret Jean St. James (September 12, 1937 – January 11, 2021) was an American women's rights activist and sex worker. In 1973 she started the organization COYOTE and St. James Infirmary Clinic. COYOTE is a medical and social service organization helping sex workers in San Francisco. St. James was born in Bellingham, Washington.
St. James died on January 11, 2021 under hospice care in San Francisco, aged 83.[1]
