Manganese(III) oxide
Manganese(III) oxide is a chemical compound. It has manganese in its +3 oxidation state. Its chemical formula is Mn2O3. It is a brown or black solid. It is made by heating manganese(IV) oxide to a temperature lower than 800 °C (1,470 °F). It is made in an alkaline cell when it dies.
