Malung-Sälen Municipality (Swedish: Malung-Sälens kommun) is a municipality in Dalarna County in central Sweden. The seat is in Malung.

The municipality was created in 1971. It was originally called Malung Municipality (Swedish: Malungs kommun). In 2007, the Government of Sweden decided to change the name as of 1 January 2008 to promote the ski resort of Sälen.[3]
