Madeleine Sherwood
Madeleine Sherwood (November 13, 1922 – April 23, 2016) was a Canadian actress. She was known for her roles as Reverend Mother Placido in The Flying Nun. She also appeared in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and Sweet Bird of Youth. Sherwood was once blacklisted as a communist during the 1960s, even though she wasn't.[1]
