Leslie Uggams
Leslie Marian Uggams (born May 25, 1943)[1] is an American actress and singer. She was born in New York City. She is known as her role as Kizzy Reynolds in the television miniseries Roots (1977). She also appeared on the Broadway musical Hallelujah, Baby!, winning a Tony Award in 1968.
