Leonid Sokov
Leonid Sokov (Russian: Леони́д Петро́вич Со́ков; October 11, 1941 – 4 April 2018) was a Russian nonconformist artist and sculptor. He was born in Tvern, Russia. In 2001 he represented Russia at the Venice Biennale.[1] He participated in the 2004 Gwangju Biennale in Gwangju, South Korea. He was known for his works being displayed at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York City.

Sokov died in Copake, New York of a pulmonary embolism on 4 April 2018 at the age of 76.[2]
