Laura Trott
Laura Trott MBE (born 7 December 1984)[1] is a British Conservative Party politician. She was elected as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Sevenoaks at the 2019 general election.

Trott was Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Department for Work and Pensions until November 2023, when she was named the Chief Secretary to the Treasury in a cabinet reshuffle.
Her father, Jim Trott, is a former chief dealer of the Bank of England.
