Lanka Sama Samaja Party

The Lanka Sama Samaja Party is one of the largest political parties in Sri Lanka. It is often referred to as LSSP.[1]

It was the first political party in Sri Lanka (at that time known as British Ceylon). It was established in 1935 by Leslie Goonewardene, N.M. Perera, Colvin R. de Silva, Philip Gunawardena and Robert Gunawardena.
