Ladon (mythology)
In Greek mythology, Ladon (Greek: Λάδων) was a dragon who guarded the Garden of the Hesperides. He specifically guarded the tree in the center of the garden, from which grew luscious, golden apples. He had one hundred heads. He was killed by Herakles, who retrieved the apples for one of his Twelve Labors.
