Kuhmoinen is a municipality in Pirkanmaa, Finland. It was part of Central Finland until 2021. Almost 2,400 people lived there as of January 2014. Nearby municipalities include Jämsä, Kangasala, Luhanka, Orivesi, Padasjoki and Sysmä.
