Klebsiella
Klebsiella is a dangerous bacterium in the family Enterobacteriaceae. It is a main cause of pneumonia in children. A new drug resistant strain was discovered in 2023. The type species is Klebsiella pneumoniae. It can also cause donovanosis, a sexually transmitted disease (STD).
