Kingdom of the South

The Kingdom of the South, was the Kingdom of Italy during the Second World War.

In September 1943, Italy surrendered to the western allies, but civil war would begin with the independence of the Italian social republic.

Civil war continued until May 1945 with the surrender of the axis forces.
