Karl Otto Pöhl
Karl Otto Pöhl (1 December 1929 - 9 December 2014)[1] was a German economist. He served as President of the Bundesbank and Chairman of its Central Bank Council from 1980 to 1991.[2][3] He was born in Hanover, Lower Saxony.

Pöhl died in Zurich, Switzerland, aged 85.
