Kambuzia Partovi
Kambuzia Partovi (also spelt Kambozia Partovi, Persian: کامبوزیا پرتوی; 11 November 1955 – 24 November 2020) was an Iranian movie director and scriptwriter. He was born in Rasht, Iran.[1] His 2007 movie Café Transit, was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.

He wrote the screenplays for other directors such as The Circle. In 2013 he acted in and co-directed Closed Curtain.
Partovi died on 24 November 2020 from COVID-19 in Tehran at the age of 65.[2]
