Judy Holliday
Judith Tuvim (later Judy Holliday; June 21, 1921 – June 7, 1965)[1] was an American actress. She acted on the stage and in movies. In Born Yesterday (both stage and movie versions), she played Billie Dawn. She received an Academy Award for Best Actress and a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress for this performance. She won a Tony Award for her performance in Bells are Ringing.[2]

Holliday was born in New York City. She also died there from throat cancer, age 43.[1]
