Joseph Wapner
Joseph Albert Wapner (November 15, 1919 – February 26, 2017) was an American judge and former television "judge." He is the first star of the ongoing reality courtroom series The People's Court.[1]

Wapner died on February 26, 2017 under hospice care in Los Angeles after suffering from respiratory failure, aged 97.[2]
