José Antonio Meade
José Antonio Meade Kuribreña (Spanish pronunciation: [xoˌse anˈtonjo ˈmið kuɾiˈβɾeɲa]; born 27 February 1969)[1] is a Mexican politician, economist, lawyer, and diplomat. He served as Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Secretary of Social Development, Secretary of Energy and twice as Secretary of Finance and Public Credit.

On 27 November 2017, he resigned his post as Secretary of Finance and Public Credit in order to run for President of Mexico as a candidate of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) in the 2018 presidential election.[2]
