Johnny Briggs (actor)
John Ernest Briggs MBE (5 September 1935 – 28 February 2021) was an English actor.[1] He was best known for his role as Mike Baldwin in the soap opera Coronation Street, in which he appeared from 1976 to 2006 and again in 2012.

Briggs was awarded the MBE in the 2006 New Year Honours.[1]
Briggs died on 28 February 2021 at his home in Portishead, Somerset from a long-illness, aged 85.[2]
