John Phillip Stamos (/ˈsteɪmoʊs/ STAY-mohs; born on August 19, 1963) is an American actor, singer and musician. He is best known for his work in television, especially in his role as Jesse Katsopolis on the ABC sitcom Full House and as Dr. Tony Gates in the medical drama ER.[1]
