John Romita, Sr.
John Victor Romita Sr.[1] (January 24, 1930 – June 12, 2023)[2] was an American comic-book artist. He was best known for his work on Marvel Comics' The Amazing Spider-Man and for co-creating Wolverine. He was inducted into the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame in 2002. He was born in New York City.

Romita died in his sleep on June 12, 2023, at the age of 93.[3]
