John Obiero Nyagarama
Nyagarama (1946 – 18 December 2020),[1] formally known as John Obiero Nyagarama, was a Kenyan politician. He was the first Governor of Nyamira County from 2013 until his death.[2] He was a member of the Orange Democratic Movement. Nyagarama was born in Nyamira County, Kenya.
Nyagarama was diagnosed with COVID-19 on 15 December 2020 and was hospitalized in Nairobi, Kenya.[3] He died three days later from respiratory failure caused by the infection, aged 74.[4]
