John Margetson

Sir John William Denys Margetson (9 October 1927 – 19 October 2020) was a British politician. He was the British Ambassador to Vietnam from 1978 to 1980, the United Nations from 1983 to 1984, and the Netherlands from 1984 to 1988.

He was appointed CMG in 1979[1] and knighted KCMG in 1986.[2]

Margetson died on 19 October 2020 at the age of 93.[3]
