John Katko
John Michael Katko (/ˈkætkoʊ/; born November 9, 1962) is an American attorney and politician. He is the U.S. representative for New York's 24th congressional district since 2015. He is a member of the Republican Party.[1]

He was a co-chair of the House moderate Republican group, the Tuesday Group.[2] He is the sole chair of the renamed Republican Governance Group for the 117th Congress.[3] Katko was one of ten Republicans in the House who voted to impeach Donald Trump during Trump's second impeachment.[4][5]
On January 14, 2022, Katko announced that he would not seek reelection in 2022.[6]
