Johannes Geldenhuys

General Johannes Jacobus ('Jannie') Geldenhuys (5 February 1935 – 9 September 2018) was a South African military commander. He was Chief of the South African Defence Force between 1985 and 1990.[1] He was born in Kroonstad, Orange Free State Province.[2]

Geldenhuys died on 9 September 2018 in George, Western Cape at the age of 83.[3]
