Johanna Quandt
Johanna Quandt (21 June 1926 – 3 August 2015) was the German widow of industrialist Herbert Quandt, who saved BMW from bankruptcy. As a result, she was the 8th richest person in Germany, 82nd in the world and 11th richest woman according to Forbes.[1]

As of August 2014, the Quandt family is estimated to be worth $46.3 billion.[2] She died at the age of 89 in her home in Bad Homburg near Frankfurt.[3]
