Joe Flaherty
Joseph Flaherty (born Joseph O'Flaherty; June 21, 1941 – April 1, 2024) was an American actor, writer, and comedian. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Flaherty is best known for his work on the Canadian sketch comedy SCTV from 1976 to 1984. He also played Harold Weir on Freaks and Geeks and Donald the heckler in Happy Gilmore (1996). Flaherty had a minor role as the credit union man in Back to the Future Part II.
Flaherty won two Emmy Awards for writing some episodes for SCTV in 1982 and 1983.
Flaherty died on April 1, 2024 in Toronto, Canada at the age of 82 after a short-illness.[1][2][3]
