Jerome L. Singer

Jerome Laurence Singer (February 6, 1924 December 14, 2019) was an American psychologist. He was the Professor Emeritus of Psychology at the Yale School of Medicine. He was a fellow of the American Psychological Association, the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the New York Academy of Sciences.[1] He was known as "the father of daydreaming" due to his works about daydreaming.[2]

Singer was born in New York City. He studied at the University of Pennsylvania. Singer died on December 14, 2019 at a hospital in New Haven, Connecticut at the age of 95.[3]
