Jean Raspail
Jean Raspail (July 5, 1925 – June 13, 2020) was a French author, traveler and explorer. He was born in Chemillé-sur-Dême, Indre-et-Loire.

Many of his books are written about historical figures. He won the Grand Prix du Roman and Grand Prix de littérature by the Académie française. He is best known for his controversial 1973 novel The Camp of the Saints.
Raspail died on June 13, 2020 in Paris at the age of 94 years old.[1]
