Janusz Wójcik

Janusz Marek Wójcik (November 18, 1953 – November 20, 2017) was a Polish politician and former football player and coach. He was born in Warsaw. From 2005 to 2007, he was a member of the Sejm. He was a member of the Samoobrona.

Wójcik played in several clubs at home and abroad, including Agrykola, Gwardia, Ursus and Hutnik Warszawa, Ravalpandi (Pakistan) and the Toronto Falcons (Canada). He trained the Polish national football team. On 21 April 2008 he was appointed as Widzew Lodz manager.

In 2010 Wójcik was hired as manager for Omani club, Al-Nahda.[1]

Wójcik died on November 20, 2017 in Warsaw at the age of 64.[2]
