James Parkinson

James Parkinson FGS (11 April 1755  21 December 1824)[1] was an English surgeon, apothecary, geologist, palaeontologist, and political activist. He researched and discovered Parkinson's disease.

Parkinson was born in Shoreditch, London. He died from a stroke in Langthorne, North Riding of Yorkshire, England, aged 69.
