James Langevin
James R. Langevin (born April 22, 1964) is an American politician from Rhode Island. He had represented Rhode Island's 2nd congressional district from 2001 to 2023. He is a part of the Democratic Party. He was also the Secretary of State of Rhode Island between 1995 and 2001.

Langevin is the first quadriplegic to be a part of the United States Congress. He was paralyzed after an accidental shooting.[1]
In January 2022, Langevin announced he would not run for re-election in that year's election.[2]
