Jadam

Jadam is a clan of Yaduvanshi Ahirs found in indian state Punjab and Haryana.[1] The name got changed from Jadav/Yadav to Jadam.[2][3]

History

Jadams are said to be the great ancestors of the Samma tribe in Sindh.[4] Bhati Rajputs and Jadaun Rajputs are together called descendants of the Jadamas.[5] Some of the Jadams later on became Jats.[6]
