Ivan Katardžiev
Ivan Katardžiev (Macedonian: Иван Катарџиев, Bulgarian: Иван Катарджиев; January 6, 1926 – December 1, 2018) was a Macedonian historian. He was called the country's most important expert on the Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization and the Macedonian history under Yugoslavia as well as the early years of independence.[1][2]

Katardžiev was also director of the Institute for National History.[1] Katadžiev died on December 1, 2018, in Skopje, North Macedonia, at the age of 92.[3]
