Isabel-Clara Simó
Isabel-Clara Simó i Monllor (4 April 1943 – 13 January 2020) was a Spanish journalist and writer. She was born in the town of Alcoi, Valencian Community.[1] She was thought to be one of the most important writers in the Catalan language.[2] Simó was awarded several prizes, including the Premi Sant Jordi in 1993. As a journalist, she was the director of Canigó magazine and has a daily column in the newspaper Avui.
Simó died of a neurodegenerative disease in Barcelona on 13 January 2020 at the age of 76.[3]
