International Energy Agency
The International Energy Agency (IEA; French: Agence internationale de l'énergie) is an autonomous intergovernmental organization created in 1974 after the 1973 oil crisis. It is based in Paris.
On 1 September 2015, Fatih Birol succeeded the 2011 Executive Director of the IEA, Maria van der Hoeven.[1]
