Interleukin 2
Interleukin-2 is a form of Interleukin. It is important in medicine because it is an effective treatment for metastatic renal cell carcinoma and Metastatic melanoma. It can produce up to a 16% response rate in patients with Metastatic melanoma.[1] and a slightly lower 15% response rate in metastatic renal cell carcinoma.[2]
