Hugh Carter

Hugh Alton Carter Sr. (August 13, 1920 – June 24, 1999) was an American Democratic politician and businessman from Georgia. He was born in Plains, Georgia. Carter was a member of the Georgia State Senate from 1967 to 1981.[1][2]

His cousin is former President Jimmy Carter.
