Huey (rapper)

Lawrence Franks Jr. (September 12, 1987 – June 26, 2020)[2] better known by his stage name Huey, was an American rapper. He was originally signed to Jive Records. Franks was best known for his first single, "Pop, Lock & Drop It" (2006). His first album, Notebook Paper, was released a year later in 2007. He also released his second album, Redemption, in 2010.

Huey died after being shot in front of his home on June 25, 2020 in Kinloch at age 32.[3]
