Harold Mabern
Harold Mabern, Jr. (March 20, 1936 – September 19, 2019) was an American jazz pianist and composer. He worked in the hard bop, post-bop, and soul jazz fields.[1] He was called by The Penguin Guide to Jazz Recordings as "one of the great post-bop pianists".[2][3] [4] He was born in Memphis, Tennessee.

Mabern died on September 19, 2019 in New York City at the age of 83.[5]
