Hannes Bauer
Johannes "Hannes" Bauer (July 22, 1954 – May 6, 2016) was a German trombonist. He worked in the field of improvised music and free jazz. He was the brother of the trombonist Conny Bauer. His career began in 1979. During his career he has worked with Thomas Lehn, Jon Rose, Ken Vandermark Territory Band and the Peter Brötzmann Tentet. He was born in Halle, Saxony-Anhalt.
