H. B. Reese

Harry Burnett "H. B." Reese (May 24, 1879 – May 16, 1956) was an American inventor. He was best known for creating Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and founding the H. B. Reese Candy Company.

He was born in York County, Pennsylvania. He was of Welsh ancestry. He married Blanche Edna Reese (née Hyson) on August 1, 1900. By 1928, the couple had sixteen children.[1]

Reese died from a heart attack on May 16, 1956 in West Palm Beach, Florida. He was 76.[1]
