Grete Berget

Grete Anni Berget (25 March 1954 – 9 November 2017) was a Norwegian politician. She was a member of the Labour Party. She was born in Vinstra, Nord-Fron, Oppland.[1]

Berget was private advisor to the Prime Minister Gro Harlem Brundtland from 1990 to 1991 and served as Minister of Children and Family Affairs from 1991 to 1996.[2] From 2003 until her death, she was secretary general of the Norwegian European Movement.[1]

Berget died from cancer on 9 November 2017 in Oslo at the age of 63.[3]
